Maximal Strength Testing - Isometric Mid-Thigh Pull Our Isometric Mid-Thigh Pull Test measures your maximal force output with precision using VALD force plates. This test evaluates your peak strength through an isometric pull on an unmovable bar at the mid-thigh position, providing accurate insights into your performance. You’ll receive comprehensive feedback on your results, helping you track progress, identify areas for improvement, and optimize your training. Ideal for anyone looking to enhance strength and monitor progress over time.
Book this appointment to learn more about your body composition, including body fat percentage, skeletal muscle mass, and body fat mass. Prior to your test, DO: • Wear light gym clothing • Ensure access to feet by wearing removable footwear & socks • Maintain your normal fluid intake the day before (24 hrs pre-test) • Use the bathroom prior to your test • Schedule any subsequent tests around the same time of day, if possible Prior to your test, DON’T: • Eat or exercise for 1-2 hrs prior • Consume alcohol or excess amounts of caffeine (higher than typical daily intake) • Shower or use a sauna • Use lotion on your hands & feet
